Q. Is OMNARIS a steroid?
A. OMNARIS is a nasal steroid and shouldn’t be confused with anabolic steroids, which are sometimes misused by athletes to enhance performance and can cause serious side effects.
Q. Why use a spray to treat my nasal allergy symptoms?
A. Sprays like OMNARIS deliver medication to the site of inflammation.
Q. Who should not use OMNARIS?
A. People who are allergic to any OMNARIS ingredients should not use this spray. Please see important product information for list of ingredients.
The safety and efficacy of OMNARIS have not been established in children under the age of 6 for seasonal allergic rhinitis and under 12 for perennial allergic rhinitis.
Q. Is there a copay assistance program?

Q. Can I get a free sample?
A. Samples may be obtained from your doctor. Please check with your doctor about the availability of an OMNARIS sample.
Q. How long can OMNARIS be used after opening the foil pouch?
A. Up to 4 months, but not after the expiration date listed on the package.
Q. What are the common side effects that may occur with OMNARIS?

Q. Is it scent free?
A. OMNARIS is scent-free as well as alcohol-free.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
When switching from an oral corticosteroid medication to OMNARIS, patients may experience withdrawal symptoms such as joint or muscle pain, weakness, or depression.
OMNARIS may cause slowed growth in children.
Patients using doses of corticosteroid drugs that weaken the immune system are more susceptible to infection and should avoid exposure to chickenpox or measles.
Rare instances of wheezing, nasal irritation, and eye problems have been reported following the use of nasal sprays. Talk with your doctor if you have a history of eye problems or experience a change in vision.
The most common side effects that may occur with OMNARIS are headache, ear pain, sore throat, and nose bleed. Infections of the nose and throat rarely occurred. If an infection occurs it may require treatment or discontinuation of OMNARIS.
