What is OMNARIS?
OMNARIS is a nasal steroid spray for people with seasonal or year-round allergies. It contains a medicine called ciclesonide, which works to relieve the inflammation that causes nasal allergy symptoms, such as sneezing, itchy nose, runny nose, and stuffy nose.

Who Is It for?
OMNARIS is approved to treat seasonal nasal allergies in adults and children 6 years of age and older and year-round nasal allergies in adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older.

What Can It Provide?
OMNARIS Nasal Spray may begin to work within 24 hours after the first dose. Further symptom improvements may occur over 1 to 2 weeks for seasonal allergy symptoms and 5 weeks for year-round allergy symptoms.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
When switching from an oral corticosteroid medication to OMNARIS, patients may experience withdrawal symptoms such as joint or muscle pain, weakness, or depression.

OMNARIS may cause slowed growth in children.

Patients using doses of corticosteroid drugs that weaken the immune system are more susceptible to infection and should avoid exposure to chickenpox or measles.

Rare instances of wheezing, nasal irritation, and eye problems have been reported following the use of nasal sprays. Talk with your doctor if you have a history of eye problems or experience a change in vision.

The most common side effects that may occur with OMNARIS are headache, ear pain, sore throat, and nose bleed. Infections of the nose and throat rarely occurred. If an infection occurs it may require treatment or discontinuation of OMNARIS.
